This week on Prog-Watch we are catching up with the Jonses! Or at least one of the Joneses...namely, our friend Peter Jones of Tiger Moth Tales! Peter had a helluva year in 2016, from guesting on albums by Red Bazar and The Colin Tench Project, to live Tiger Moth Tales gigs with a full band, and even touring Japan as part of the legendary Camel! I caught up with him late last year and we discussed all of this and more. Plus, I play a lot of great music in between the chat, so in the words of Yoda, “miss it not!”Website: Progwatch.comFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/ProgWatch/Twitter: @ProgSquatchEmail: progsquatch@gmail.comThis show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/3136310/advertisement

Greg Lake was kind of a personal hero to me; and as a guy with a Prog Rock show, I couldn't let his passing go without doing a tribute show. I've put together a nice career retrospective here, with some things you might not expect to hear and a few you may never have heard. So join me this week as I take a look back at a little of the impressive body of work left by Greg Lake. Requiescat in pace, Greg.Website: Progwatch.comFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/ProgWatch/Twitter: @ProgSquatchEmail: progsquatch@gmail.comThis show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/3136310/advertisement

On this week's show our special guest is none other than Nikki Squire of the band Esquire! In her first interview in a number of years, the former Mrs. Chris Squire talks candidly about what she learned about music from Chris, the early years of her own band, Esquire, and her writing partnership with Nigel McLaren, through to the loss of her former husband and Nigel both in a short period of time last year. Along the way we will hear music from the first two Esquire albums, and their brand new release No Spare Planet, which is a return to form and fitting tribute to the late Nigel McLaren. As always, send questions, suggestions or comments to progsquatch@gmail.com.
